I Can't Hear You (exerpt)

Video, 2019

This is an exerpt from a long piece titled I Can't Hear You. The piece uses analog video manipultion to create multiple layers of visual effects that give the piece a "trippy" aesthetic. The guitar being played in the video is also wirde through a sound board into the analog video manipulation proccessors thus when the guitar is strummed the frequencies it creates directly impact appearance of the video it is being played in. While mostly being a practical bit ofexperimentation with the possibilities of analog video manipulation it also reflects the feelings one might have at a loud party while indulging in psychedelic substances or the euphoria experienced when you find the right bit of music to accompany your thoughts and feelings.
