Alfred University's Mechanical Engineering Program offers many opportunities for its future engineers to gain hands on experience. The goal of these projects is to relate hands-on project experience with the curriculum offered at AU.

SAE Mini Baja is just one way in which a student can obtain this priceless knowledge. From designing the entire car in SolidWorks, to performing Finite Element Analysis, to manufacturing and field testing the vehicle, students at AU have the opportunity to learn in and out of the classroom.
