The Text:
The main body of the text is organized into lessons, examples, and activities, each of which corresponds to a unique component of the AUCI course.  Lessons and examples are summaries of the information presented in the lesson and example videos, respectively, and the activities contain the work to be completed in class.  The appendices of the text contain useful supplemental information from geometry formulas to derivative and integral formulas.  The most efficient way to describe how a student uses the text is by describing the sequence of steps a student must complete for an assigned lesson.

     1. Navigate to the AUCI website.
     2. Watch the lesson and example videos.
Follow along with the text and take notes.
     3. Immediately take an online self-assessment
         quiz through WeBWorK.
     4. Attend the next class meeting and complete
         the corresponding activity in class.
     5. Complete an online homework assignment          through WeBWorK.
