Militant Illustrators' Association is a college club at Alfred University. The Militant Illustrators' Association exists for the interests of people who want to write, draw, or be involved in the creation of comics. We aspire to help people to develop their drawing, writing, and storytelling skills, to get their work into the community, and to help members interested in the comic industry to develop their skills and network at conventions. We also aim to develop community awareness and interest in comics.
We sell our own comic books every Friday at the powell campus center from 11:10 to 1:00. We also go to conventions whenever we can and sell there.
We meet on Wednesdays at 9:15 in front of Little Alf. These meetings consist of mostly the president yelling at her members to work like slave drivers.
