"Turning Calculus Inside Out and Upside Down"
The concepts and terminology introduced in Chapter 1 are more fully developed
in Chapter 2 as they are now applied to quadratic and cubic functions. In
addition, we demonstrate how linear functions can be used to approximate other
functions near a given input value.
