How to Use the CD-ROM

This companion CD-ROM is a user-friendly resource that provides easy access to the reproducible and customizable material found in Academic Library Manager's Forms, Policies, and Procedures Handbook with CD-ROM. All the different types of forms, policies, and procedures found in the print version are reproduced here in PDF form.

The structure of the CD-ROM mirrors the book's Table of Contents; click on each chapter to find the policies, forms, and procedures that follow the same sequence as the book.

As a bonus, this disk contains dozens of additional policies and forms not found in the book. These bonus materials were selected according to the same rigorous process as the items found in the printed book; only space considerations prevented their inclusion in print. Bonus items appear here wherever the book notes "For additional policies, please see the accompanying CD-ROM."

To search the contents of the CD-ROM, follow these steps:

• In Adobe Acrobat, go to Edit --> Search.

• At the bottom of the Search PDF window, click "Use Advanced Search Options."

• Enter your keywords in the text box.

• For the Look In field, select the Select Index option.

• Select the Index from the list or click Add, locate the index file (nsbrumley_search.pdx), and click Open.

• In the Index Selection dialog box, click OK, then proceed with your search.
