The paraboloid is parameterized as
and is plotted for  (s-resolution
is 16) and  (t-resolution
is 32). This portion of the cylinder is plotted without
erasing the portion of the elliptic paraboloid already
plotted and is shown to the right. |

The final two stages graph the part of the cylinder in front of the
paraboloid. Each of these final stages uses the same
parameterization as stage 1, but the s- and t-plot
intervals and resolutions are different.
