Lady Nivah Katherine Rose of Bannockburn

 .

Lady Nivah has many varied interests.  She sews, she scribes, she embroiders, (...in fact she embroiders everything that she can fit into her embroidery machine,) and she cooks amazing feasts.  She is a heavy weapons marshal, a youth marshal, an official MOL, and is working towards her marshalate in thrown weapons.  For the past two years, Nivah has served as head cook for the States Banquet at Pennsic, serving Royals from every Kingdom.  She is the matron of The Keepers of the Rolling Dragon, and the glue that holds us all together!

-bags and pouches for Pennsic 36
-nifty site tokens for Kingdom 12th Night, 2007
-cooking lunch for 12th Night and making dessert trays for the Clothing Collegium
 

 

Lord Raibert, aka Bob

Bob is Lady Nivah's other half.  He drives the dragon, hauls all of the heavy things that Nivah carries to events, and he fights a mean sword and board.  Bob serves as unofficial mechanic and handyman for the ladies of the household, as well.  Generally, he's a pretty likeable guy. Bob's Projects:
-armoring
-keeping the women-folk sane

 

Lady Lily of Hartstone

 

 Lily has been in the SCA longer than the rest of the members of our household.  Although she is a thrown weapons marshal, she is still not allowed to cut any fabric...Lily serves as the sole reservation clerk for the Shire of Hartstone.  Her sense of humor keep the rest of the household smiling whenever we are all together.

-working on her thrown weapons prowess

 

Lady Renata Rouge

Ren is the trouble maker of the household.  She loves doing anything scribal, and tastes all of the household's culinary creations "to make certain they don't suck."  She has been working on learning not to raise her hand constantly, but Nivah's addiction with this affliction doesn't help...

Brad Boda D'Aylward, who is also in this picture, is our honorary guard and protector.  Brad likes to sample our food, too, and in return, he watches over us and keeps us sane.

Lady Mairghread ui Stilbhard uu Coinn

Mairg is also a scribe, and a seasoned cook.  Her forte lies in finding great prices on fabrics and clothing.  Mairg is currently serving term as the chronicler for the Barony of Thescorre.  She is also a youth marshal.  Mairg is a great source of comfort and friendship for the other members of the household.  Lately, Mairg has been researching and creating period feast booklets. Mairghread's Projects:
-current chronicler for the Barony of Thescorre
-marshaling the Baronial Youth Championships for Thescorre
-active Kingdom scribe
-helping with dessert trays for Clothing Collegium

 

Lord Wulfr Drachenhand

Wulfr is a dedicated fighter.  Although he spends much of his time on the list field, he also finds time to haunt our kitchens.  Wulfr is a heavy weapons marshal, he fences, he has served as Queen's Guard, has retained for special Royals, and served as AE Royal Camp Shlep Assistant at Pennsic 35.  Unknown to many, Wulfr is quite the academic; this so called Barbarian even speaks Latin... Wulfr's Projects:
-fighting
-researching early period Germanic tribes
-researching silly period weapons forms
-hand drumming and making hand drums
-natural tanning

 

Will

.

 Mairg's husband Will is one of a kind.  An accomplished heckler with a heart of gold (although he may never admit it,) Will helps to break up the monotony when the ladies have spent the day in a kitchen and are tired and weary.  One of his more entertaining comments: "Hey, you were peeling eggs the last time I saw you, too...do you like punishment?"  Will's Projects:
-Will is interested in archery
-researching whether he can prove that motorcycles are period

 

Lord Mekk

Mekk, also known as Jim, is a heavy combat marshal and a youth combat marshal.  When not fighting, he is usually giving us a hard time in the kitchen.  Currently he is serving a term as the Shire of Hartstone's webminister. Mekk's Projects:
-webminister for the Shire of Hartstone, with help from the Ren above : )

 

Finn

Finn is one of our youth.  Not only does he help out hauling and carrying things for our various projects, but he is also quite the accomplished fighter.  He was the Kingdom Youth Champion for the second reign of Duke Malcolm and Duchess Tessa.  He is also extremely courteous in nature. Finn's Projects:

Lady Mara of Hartstone, called MacKenzie

Mara is one of our younger members, yet she is still quite industrious!  She wrangles the younger children, spends her days in the kitchens, sews, and is starting the scribal arts.  Mara is delightful to have around, too...and she does dishes! Mara's Projects:
-helping in the kitchen's of Hunter's Moon, 2006, Kingdom 12th Night, 2007, and with the dessert trays for the Clothing Collegium
-working on garb

 

Livy and Luke

Livy and Luke are our two youngest members.  They are absolutely delightful to have at events and get togethers! Livy's Projects:

Lord Ardan and Lady Deirdre Scot

Ardan and Deirdre both reside in the Shire of Hartstone.  They help out in kitchens, and serve as officers in the Shire.  While Ardan's main passion is fighting, he is also quite the artist.  Deirdre bakes amazing chocolatey things, like cappuccino brownies. Ardan's Projects:
