Keeping our hands busy...
Lady Nivah was asked to make favors for the Kingdom Scribes.  Here they are embroidered and are about to be cut out and hemmed. The Keepers of the Rolling Dragon meet often to work on projects, big and small, and to catch up on the latest gossip.  We sew, and cook, and most of our members are also Kingdom scribes.  This household serves as a support group, in many respects.  Whenever one of its members has fallen on hard times, the others come to the rescue.  (Most often we bring food with our encouragement!)

This page is devoted to the various projects that we have done over the last few years.  If you see something that interests you, let us know and we will gladly send you instructions!

One of our most amazing projects has included cooking for the first and second annual States Banquet at the Great Pennsic Wars.  We have also done mass scroll case workshops for the Sylvan Signet office, produced scrolls for the "Scrolls for Kingdoms" project, and made the youth and newcomer largesse for TRM Malcolm and Tessa.

This site is still under construction, and believe me, there are so many more projects yet to be displayed!

Our guys take a break from
fighting to pose for the camera.

We have been working on digitizing the local group's devices for embroidery files.  This has been a long and arduous process but we are excited to do this!

Mistress Elisabeth came to play with us for a day!  This trim was made for Mistress Guilietta's Pelican ceremonial cloak.
The Keepers of the Rolling Dragon are known world wide for their culinary prowess.  Here they had prepared a feast fit for Kings at Aethelmearc War Practice, 2006, a special request.

Nivah made these bags for TRM Malcolm and Tessa.  She embroidered their heraldry on each bag.  They turned out beautiful!

These were gift bags that we made as newcomer largesse for Duke Malcolm and Duchess Tessa.

These tins were painted in Kingdom colors and then paced with sewing notions to be used as sewing kits for the populace.

As Youth largesse, we made little game bags with five man morris on one side and shut the box on the other side.  Directions and game pieces went inside the bags!

More game bags, and a special purple and pink gift bag that we made for Princess Royale Kate!

And the bags!  Lady Nivah, made over 400 bags for Pennsic!  Mara strung them, Mairghred, and Renata helped provide the fabric.  Nivah's living room looked like a pouch explosion!

These are one of the token possibilities for Kingdom 12th Night, 2007.  They are leather with embroidered escarbuncles, and they are beautiful!
