The New York Atlatl Association was originally formed in the 1990's.  Throughout the last year, however, an innovative idea began to take shape.  As various regional associations began to form and stabilize, the concept of a State organization as an umbrella group was born.  Atlatlists throughout New York had been discussing friendly competition between clubs for many years.  This "club challenge" became an idea for team competitions, one of the main goals for the NYAA.  The NYAA has also facilitated the long desired format for an individual State championship.  Informal discussions around the camp fire and ISAC targets became serious discussions at formal meetings and thus, the NYAA as an "association of associations" began...

This is the site of the New York Atlatl Association.  We are still in the process of building the site, as well as being in the fledgling phases of building the NYAA.  As we both grow, if you would like information, please feel free to contact the NSAA secretary, Linda Brundage, at atlatldart1@yahoo.com.
