Prepare yourself for a lot of Hillel at Alfred fun after spring break. As we did last year we will be inviting a Jewish comedian to come perform on campus. News: Friday Nights This Fall

Friday Nights have changed. Now at 6:30 PM on Fridays there will be Hebrew Class followed by Kiddish, Challah and a snack. Once a month there will be a full Shabbat Dinner. Shabbat Dinner Schedule is poseted on the events page. If you would like to help make the snack or cook the Shabbat Dinner please email hillel@alfred.edu

News: Hillel at Alfed in the News

Viewers of the Dec. 7 "11:00 News", and Dec. 8 "Wake Up" news program on WIVB-TV 4 who thought they saw Alfred Universtity would be correct. They were looking at the "Swipe-A-Neighbor" program that was co-sponsered by Hillel at Alfred and Alpha Phi Omega. Jeffrey Spiro, President of Hillel at Alfred, and Khristina Beaulac, Treasurer for Alpha Phi Omega [both event coordinators] were featured, along with and various members of student and local community.

News: Hillel Trip

Hillel at Alfred is planning on visiting the Manischewitz Wine factory,
located in Naples about 1 hr away from Alfred. We have scheduled the
trip, transporation included, for Sunday November 2nd at 2PM (leaving
Alfred at 1PM).

News: Directions to Temple Beth El

Temple Beth El: 12 Church St, Hornell, NY 14843
1. Take Main Street North out of Alfred. Main Street becomes Route 244 just out of town. Follow Route 244 to the flashing red light,
2. At the flashing red light, turn left onto Route 21 North.
3. Stay on Route 21 for about ten miles until you reach Hornell. Turn left at the third traffic light onto Church Street.
4. Temple Beth El is the first building on your left as you turn onto Church Street. You can park in the municipal parking lot on your left, just past the synagogue.
