Outreach and Service Activities

OUTREACH ACTIVITIES

Our research group is actively involved in several outreach activities, principally geared towards the recruitment and retention of Hispanics and women in science and engineering.

Among our many activities, we have been involved as participants and organizers in the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers student technical paper competition, where we have received several awards.

Student Researchers

We have also organized and hosted several "Women in Science Luncheon" events at the Mexican MRS meeting.

1st Annual Women in Science Luncheon
