What is Alfred Swing Society?

Alfred Swing Society is an organization devoted to learning, teaching, and practicing various forms of swing dancing, principally Lindy Hop and East Coast (6-count). We meet once a week to teach and learn new steps and practice. In addition, members are encouraged to accompany some of the officers to dances in Rochester or to workshops.

A wide range of abilities and experience levels are represented at the meetings: from first-time, never-danced-before newbies to seasoned swing and dance veterans. Everyone is welcome.

Meeting Time: Mondays at 5:30 in the Knight Club in Powell Campus Center

Upcoming Events: May Dance Concert
